Ep. 7 It's Ok to be gay & fat with Joshua R. Pangborn

Body Positivity is here to stay with this award-winning filmmaker behind and in front of the camera. Joshua R Pangborn joins his friend Ashley Monique Menard for a chat about growing up a weird, smart gay kid into calling his own shots now. The two talk about how Queer as Folk broke new grounds and Modern Family was a bit complacent in Queer Stories. The creator of the LGBTQ hit Skeleton Crew & Demon Doctor shares his struggles to help you face your fears to give birth to your dreams.

Joshua R. Pangborn is the creator of two award-winning web series, Skeleton Crew and Demon Doctor, and the founder of SideKick Productions, a body-positive LGBT Production company. A writer, actor, and director, Joshua loves to blend genre and tone to create and tell unique and unusual stories. Knowledge and learning are also important to him; he holds a doctorate in English Literature and has spent many years teaching students on subjects ranging from Shakespeare to Watchmen. He has even been published in a collection of essays on the topic of Robin.

Joshua is grateful he is so fortunate to work with the amazing team he has at SideKick Productions, and he looks forward to a lifetime of working with them to share stories with the world.
