James grew up in Detroit Michigan. After High School he made the move to Los Angeles where he joined Entity Contemporary Dance Company. After a few years in LA James decided to get his feet wet and travel with Royal Caribbean. Bringing his feet back to land and moving cross country to NYC he then began working for Todrick Hall. James has now been in NYC a little over 4 years and is still enamored at how much he continues to learn about his industry and craft.
